  • We encourage clients to keep creative sizes as small as possible to ensure a positive user experience and quicker rendering to get better results for your brand.
  • Heavy ad load affects our SEO ranking in google. To help us stay on top and reach our audience, we need you to comply with our specs.

IAS & MOAT tracking

  • If IAS or MOAT is being implemented in third party tags please provide a geography, content & keyword blocking list so we can work together to deliver a successful campaign.
  • At Time Out we track our ads using IAS, and this information is available to you on request.
  • Please note that IAS or MOAT tracking cannot be implemented for the Skin format.

HTTPs

  • As we are a secure site, all tags must be supplied in a secure script.
  • Any tags that have not been secured will not render on our site.

HTML5

  • They can be supplied as an HTML5 bundle or as a third party tag.

SLA

  • All assets should be provided within specs and received by the Ad Ops team no later than 3 working days prior to start date to ensure a smooth launch process. If assets are NOT within specs additional time may be required and may affect launch.
  • Please note that we ask for the creatives to be sent at least 5 working days before start date for anything that will require further testing, e.g. bespoke formats, additional tracking pixel (MOAT, IAS, etc.).

All ad formats are in accordance with IAB display guidelines.

All designs are subject to Time Out approval and alterations may need to be made to fit with Time Out requirements.


Skin

  • Please supply skin as a single creative asset (Startic GIF or JPG)
  • "Visible area on a small screen": Place all campaign messaging and logos here
  • "Content area": Skin is not visible within this area, please leave blank
  • Click-through URL must be provided (only one can be implemented)
